This panel is made from an apple trunk that I found at a small woodyard in Virginia. The entire center had rotted away leaving this ring of beautiful wood behind for me to play with. Crushed mussel shell set in resin is used to fill the space between the apple. 
 
Panel can be hung vertically and horizontally.
